Not sure about that. The only person that could rat him out on being a killer is Harrison. He could just say after what happened to his sister he had to get out of miami and start a new life where Dexter Morgan is dead and jim lindsey is alive.

It's very obvious that it's him putting on the ski mask and hunting gear and shooting the girl that was locked up in the room and then ran when she had a chance.

That's why the last 2 episodes are way off. You can get away with that shyt in a big city like Miami where most people don't pay attention to strangers but Iron lake is a small town where everybody knows you and your business. It's easier to be noticed get caught.
