What have you read? Most of the early reviews I've read have been at worst calling it good enough... I haven't seen anyone calling it outright bad or anything like that.

Most of the critics that got the early 4 episodes screener were basically saying it's a continuation of the bad couple of seasons or saying it's meh at best.

But I don't see that, these eps remind me of the good old days with an update.

2 episodes in and this shyt already feels just like the later seasons of the original Dexter. I just feel like I shouldnt even waste my time with this again. nikka covering up blood spatter by driving over it with his ATV lol. And who the fukk thought it would be a good idea to keep annoying ass Deb around as the dark passenger. nikka bring back Harry.

Decided to give it a shot. Doesn’t feel much different than the other seasons. Hopefully, this police department isn’t as incompetent as Miami Metro. The Harrison angle is intriguing. I get the impression that he may be the final form of what Dexter wishes he could be. Writing is still….not great, but this has some potential to be really solid.

definitely think it's gonna build to something like that, with harrison being more like dexter than he'd care for (but maybe better/more confident etc)
