scout rifles have always been usable...

anyway: so it starts...this is another reason i dislike playing mp...the minority of people complain about shyt, devs make changes for that minority, fukking with the game for the majority....most of the changes are usually just nerfs to the popular, 'it' thing of the moment, which is fukking stupid....instead of nerfing the auto rifles, they shouldve just boosted the shyt they thought was weaker...all nerfing does is start the cycle of complaining and nerfing for whatever the 'it'/popular weapon is at that moment....cause now watch, the same people that bytched about auto rifles are gonna start bytching about scout rifles...it's gonna get to the point the only gun being used is the hand cannon...which ironically, they boosted again, even though it's already powerful as shyt....

also, the nerfs are fukking up other parts of the game, making it less fun:

1. this isnt a pvp only game...the changes they make are gonna affect the pve part...so they're making the weapons weaker against the computer too, which is gonna take away some of the fun.....

2. what's the point of going after and upgrading some legendary weapons now?...if all they gonna do is nerf them, there is no point...which takes away some of the fun of the game...

That's debatable. You're spot on about the hand cannons though. I have seen an uptick of folks using these and they have dropped me a during times where I was certain I would win a gun battle.

I notice they didn't touch the fusion rifles though and those were EXTREMELY popular in the beginning.

I just don't think that scout rifles will receive the same backlash, but fukk it... I've been wrong before. I think the aim here is to force people to make actual decisions about the weapons they use in different scenarios. The Auto was a one gun shyt show, and i'm not even taking about legendary or exotics. Not saying it should be impossible to win with an Auto at long or short range, just saying it should be harder to. Not sure nerfing solves that , but to be honest its the least of my complaints with the game anyway

This makes me wonder what Bungie has in store

From Kotaku:

Master Rahool refers of course to the Cryptarch in the Tower, who decoded the countless engrams farmed from dead enemies on this spot.
Don't think it is anything else but a mockery to those who farmed the cave, lol.

this is another thing that really erks me about 'balance' changes....it's like devs see how people are playing a game, dont like it, and then try to force people to play the game another way....which i think is bullshyt and the devs dont have a right to do that....all the devs should do is offer different options; how players choose to play a game is all on the players, the devs should have no say so in that...if most players like option A, that doesnt mean make changes (normally negative) to option A to force them to use option B....ex: bioware did that shyt so much in mass effect 3 mp it almost ruined the fun of the game...they only seemed to make 'balance' changes to whatever was popular at the moment trying to force players to use other shyt....

another thing: how the fukk they already nerf the vex gun?...that's one of the reason people want to do the raid on hard cause of the chance of getting that gun...the fact it got nerfed just kinda killed some of that motivation...

Simple solution: patch it for PVP only. The Vex was super OP in PVP, it definitely needed a nerf.

MIDA multi tool feels nice in pve with the added bonus for critical hits. didn't do too bad with it in pvp but i'm doing the thorn bounty again so I wasnt really going for kills with it

i think that should apply to the majority of the balance changes since most of the changes are being made because of pvp...but bungie isnt doing that, they just making flat changes that's affecting both sides....

do you recall what you did to get the bounty for that gun?.....i've gotten the same 3 exotic bounties (bad juju, thorn, invective) the last 3/4 times in a row now...

i ask cause bungie has said once you reach a certain milestone, you're more than likely get an exotic bounty

It was a Nightfall prize two weeks ago.

There's only 5 exotic bounties. I've done Invective, Pocket Infinity, Bad Juju, and I'm currently doing Thorn and Super Good Advice
