I don't see the need for the big uproar with this cause if you know Dave you know that he leaves no one exempt from joking on. But only when the joke is on you that it's a problem all of a sudden it seems. Guy can say nikka a thousand times but the moment he mentions some tranny shyt it's on .

finally watched it and thought all the controversy is really about nothing, and at this point I'm sure both Dave & Netflix are loving the extra attention.
As for the show it self, it was alright...thought his points were good but the jokes were mostly light especially coming off of Sticks & Stones. Idk, I also felt like Dave got kinda lazy on this with the structuring of his jokes and dropping the surprise punchline like he is known for.
Overall, I'd say this was about 2.25/5

I just got back from DC Improv where Godfrey was performing. He killed it by the way. His opener and feature were funny as hell too.
What dawned on me watching the opener and feature kill and Godfrey kill in spurts, but sit in the pocket, is the opener and feature were both playing their hit singles from beginning to end because they only have 15-20 minutes tops. But Godfrey had to play singles and album cuts because his set was 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
What’s crazy is Dave is playing ALL album cuts in the last two specials. He might give you a single with a Kevin Hart or Jussie Smulliet joke, but the rest of the special is all album cuts.
That’s why all the comedians praise him so much. They see what the consumer doesn’t see. He’s winning while playing nothing but album cuts.
I hope this makes sense. I’m kind of tipsy right now.

Finally watched thought it was funny if self aggrandizing, but he's earned that right. i'm not exactly sure what people are so mad about from this
if anything the hollywood women who co=opted the #MeToo movement and used it for self gain off the backs of regular women everywhere should be the mad ones. he called them out and wasnt wrong. maybe they are the ones putting the battery in certain people's backs
biggest problem i had about the whole DaBaby thing was him not taking some time to address his one overdone terrible flow

Funny, I just came across this old Def Jam set of Dave's on a Facebook, not realizing that "Kick her in the p*ssy" joke that he said on one of his recent specials was a throwback joke to this is set, lol!
