goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
you get an hour on stage... and you're doing your THIRD repeat of defending yourself against gay jokes?

fam, theres a LOT of crazy shyt happening and you have a huge platform.

Again, he threw jabs at everything else and kept it moving... but just wants us to think about these trannies for HOURS.

Its annoying knowing he doesn't have to do this.
I think YOU fukked a tranny :jbhmm: you are very defensive

This shyt wasn't funny at all. Dave is in the D1ck Gregory stage of his life where he tryin to educate about different social issues. I just want jokes. Chris Rock Netflix special sh1tted on all of Dave's combined. Thats just the truth.
Funny..love Chris Rock and that last special wasn't funny at ALL. I don't know why it was that bad... But it was.

Dave is on the Mount Rushmore of comedy for me so this isn’t hate, but I just found this to be probably the only special of his that I’ve found hard to sit through. The first 15 or 20 minutes were cool but I hate that he felt the need to spend almost an hour defending himself against the LGBT community.

100% co-sign this. I ain't mad, he's always mixed in controversial ish with some really funny and poignant observations. But I just thought a lot of this ish felt uninspired. The sad part is even Dave's mid-tier bodies 90% of the specials that'll drop this next year. I think his juxtaposing MLK's tactics to the Women's March was the best bit and even when I don't agree with dude's logic, he still can craft a strong punchline.

A lot of energy spent on trans stories for sure, like the one with the mother and daughter, felt drawn out a bit much imo. Otherwise it's comedy from a master at his craft and that's something to appreciate.

I'm old enough to remember when Dave told jokes. Killin Em Softly is my absolute favorite comedy special of all time. Even the follow-up he did in San Fran was underrated as hell. But man, he has lost me. I wanna laugh when I see Chappelle not be preached to. Just my honest take, glad some of y'all enjoyed it
