The thing that shocked me the most about this episode BY FAR, was how much Nick Gage looks like current day HBK

@Bonefan32 Dark Side of Football isn't nearly as entertaining as Dark Side of the Ring. It's a cool watch, but it's not nearly the same sort of magnitude. At least not yet with the Chad Johnson episode.
I dvr'd the episode but still havent watched it yet,its gonna be hard for it to be better than Dark Side Of The Ring
Chad Johnson is an interesting guy, but his story isn't really tragic or dark at all. It's a really bizarre choice to cover his story and make him the first episode. It was good in an ESPN E60 way though.
He does look like a Cosplay HBK (2021 version)
I can't stand death matches, especially the low rent shyt post-ECW. Interesting story because I didn't know much about Gage but I won't go look up any of those shytty matches.

That “carny” aspect dictates so much of people’s actions in wrestling, both directly and indirectly. Show like 5 episodes of Dark Side… that focuses a lot on the inner workings of the biz, to like 5 folks who’ve never been exposed to anything pro wrestling related beforehand. They’d literally be like
“None of this makes any fukkin sense”
