What's yalls thoughts on Monero? I'm brand new to cryptos

Holding off of making a buy of any of the coins.
Bought one single Litecoin at $73 and now I see China is pulling a fast one.

There's talk out here that parties and exchanges want Bitcoin $2900 or so. And with blood still flowing in the streets, I need to see where the bottom is, although suspect below $3000 will make buy opportunities for all of us then.

Watch the market, do your research, and make your move.

Looking to get me some Sia for some nice volume or maybe storj.

I dont know about the longterm prospects, heinsenberg posted earlier in the thread that bitcoin will be implementing more privacy features, but definetly profitable in the short term if youre able to get in under $90, it basically has a cult following and id expect it to back to $110-120 once the china/jpmorgan drama clears.

It's not a scam. I've made a few hundred off bitcoin. I've also lost about $50. There's risks like all investments.

One could argue that it's a bubble. It may drop this week, but I think it's more likely that prices will stabilize and continue rising long term. I'd watch the charts and be on the lookout for news before buying though.
