had an idiot friend who does online sports betting. they somehow started using bitcoin and he bought it at 350. So now not only is his money at risk with the sports gambling he doubled down on it with the exchange risk with bitcoin. I tried to tell him how bad the charts for bitcoin were looking.

Bitcoin was in a pump and dump phase and never retested the 150/250$ area before skyrocketing therefore it was bound to happen from a trading point of view. It could then start going back up in a natural growth if it can stay above 150 but if it does break it, that'll be a good night for it.
