Was Gran Metalik one of the lucha dudes who has done stuff in NJ in the past couple of years? The spinning on the ropes spot looked very familiar.

Loved it. Matches presented as real fights. D Bry and Mauro calling the action. The lil video packages. This is dope. The E knows how to do good shyt, hopefully down the line Raw and Smack change up for the better from shyt like this.

When you have a total package like this, then the work rate in the matches isnt even that important. Example, the match with the asian kid was whatever (not the Ibushi match), but the overall presentation made it worth the watch.

:salute:

The highlight of the night for me was D Bry saying "THIS GUY IS CRAZY THIS GUY IS INSANE" and immediately dude does a shooting star off the apron. It showed D Bry knew his shyt, had genuine enthusiasm and concern for whats happening, plus it got over the logic of doing some dumb shyt like that.

Gran Metallik looked great. An adult human-sized Kallisto with a much cooler mask. Sign him.

Alejandro Saez surprised me. Based on his WOAT look, I thought he'd be a jaybrone. Dude has some skills. Get on a cycle and come back next year, kid.

Ariya Daivari with the natural heel tendencies and a great look. Seemed skilled in-ring too. Sign him.

Ho-Ho Lun.... Ehhh... He seemed nervous and out of his depth.

Clement Petoit was good (if somewhat generic). Based well for Cedric, didn't try to do too much. I can see him getting recruited to NXT.

Cedric Alexander looked fantastic. Sign him.

Sean Maluta was way better than expected. Sign him up and put him with the Usos, those guys need something to rejuvenate their act anyway.

Ibushi is obviously the star of this whole thing. I'd say sign him but I think that's already done.

Agreed 100%, really looking forward to the rest of the tournament since just the first episode has that many standouts

Cedric Alexander is really dope... I actually see him being the TSC's prophesied black WWE Champion before Apollo Crews.

I like the set-up of matches, the introduction before each match adds to the tourny feel. Lun needs more training and Davari brother needs to be signed

First and last match were great, the two in the middle were kinda 'ehh....'.

Alejandro Saez was the big surprise here. One hand dude was hilarious with the exaggerated clumsy selling but on the other hand you could really tell that the guy has "it". Lots of potential there and should be an instant NXT signee.

Ho Ho Lun was weak as fukk, Daivari should've won that match. lol @ Daivari getting massive heat simply from the xenophobic rednecks just because he reps Iran.

Cedric Alexander is good. Not sold on him being a better Apollo Crews just because they happen to be floundering Apollo in WWE.

Maluta nearly killed himself twice in that match but he showed he's hungry, and that kick to Ibushi's face was no joke. Ibushi is levels above everyone else though.

Shawn Maluta did his thing. I was impressed with him as well.
First reaction another damm Samoan :beli:
The two fans cheering for him at the start of the match:pachaha:you no that was his fam
:ohhh:was he copying the Usos when he barely got over that top rope doing that somersault moonsault:heh:

But he impress me and since they said he is part of the Samoan dynasty he is going to at least get a decent shot
