Nope! During camp he had all the trumpets in a separate session and we had to play for him and the assistant director solo. Based on our performance they let us know who was able to scream and who wasn’t.

Moms went to NSU and I use to work in the Concession spots when I was younger at Foreman Field I never sold anything too busy watching the damn band.

I played in a SWAC band..SWAC band members clown the MEAC bands all day, but the Legion are them nikkas fr. Can’t help but to respect their style. I wish they came to Atlanta more. I don’t want to see the MEAC lose any more schools, but if the MEAC dissolves then I hope NSU joins the SWAC like FAMU & Cookman did.

I know their football team is kinda mid, but their hoops team is legit. I’d love to see them & Texas Southern battle for the SWAC title every year.

Their baseball team would compete with Bama State & Southern for the yearly SWAC title too.

That’s what’s up..it needs to be more HBCU games up there. I support all my fellow HBCUs but if y’all going crazy over Howard & Morehouse I can only imagine what would happen if Southern, Jackson State, FAMU, Bama State or Texas Southern comes up there.

Games at the Vet in Jackson be so damn lit. Im mad we never traveled with the team when I was in the band at Bama State. We always played them in Mobile or our travel budget didn’t allow us to go there to the Vet.
