Her reasons. Personally I think Candyman would actually do better on VOD than in theaters and would take social media by storm. It being a smaller scale, horror film makes it perfect for the format.

The pandemic has changed the theater experience dramatically and will probably stay that way for most of the forseeable future. She's gonna be keeping this film on the shelf for quite some time if she's seeking the same theater engagement that you would get pre-corona.

This movie would have to drop first quarter of next year. If it does not it will be lost in sauce with all the other releases that are much bigger than this. Universal still have Spiral and the Halloween sequel to worry about as well.
