HE SAID BREEZE TAUGHT HIM
EVERYTHING HE KNEW ABOUT
THE STREETS AS IF HIS MOTHER
AND UNCLES DIDNT EXIST.

THIS SHOW COMPLETELY SAID
fukk ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED
IN THE OG POWER.

I LOOK AT IT AS AN ALTERNATE
UNIVERSE NOW AND WOULDNT BE
SURPRISED IF THEY WENT THAT ROUTE OFFICIALLY.

They really should. Cuz right now I'm not seeing this good natured, sensitive young man developing into a dude that strangles old women to death or would shoot their own son in cold blood. That's some un-parented, never had a hug in life type shyt. We know this Kanan aint that. I don't see Lou or Marvin killing an old lady like that and they deep in the game. I don't think Marvin could shoot Juke like that and Lou damn sure couldn't.

Force is a bad show from what I’ve seen so far….this has better acting/story/characters… it isn’t great but out of the 3 current shows its 2nd to ghost

Had to force myself to watch the Tariq shyt but it got better towards the end with the connnections to the og power

Yeah I can dig it, and I also think Kanan is the best of the Power shows, just a tad bit better than Ghost but I just wanted to see exactly why people felt Raising Kanan was way better. I think it’s probably the casting/characters more than anything. Because I think the story/plot so far is pretty average

On another note, not only is Raq a horrible mother, She’s been the only woman in Juke’s life up to this point, why the hell wont she take Juke to get her hair done or shopping??? :ld:

Juke's tomboy/dike. Juke got pretty for the formal and church. Juke is also 17 years old, why would Raq be dressing her?

"Went to go see my moms" could mean at the cemetery. It could also mean in jail, a mental institution, or at her actual home. We'll see. But with the way this nikka is on the show now compared to the way he turns out, I don't see a happy ending for Raq.

They need to wrap this Crown/Lou power struggle up.

And still with the don't know if he's truly breh's dad even though he supposedly has paperwork lol smh.

That therapist need to go ahead and drop the draws and get it over with.

All these niccas moving like they didn't just antagonize the Italian mob is hilarious  . Moving dead bodies, trying to make music deals, and to top it all off, going fukking camping 🤣.

Looking at raq and kanan relationship its kinda hard to believe that he would kill his own son
I’m sorry, but I do not think the writers of this show can turn this version of Kanan into the one we are familiar with in a convincing manner. I said this last season and the sentiment still has not waiver ever since. May be a bit premature, but it is what it is :manny:. I’m supposed to believe this iteration of Kanan will transform into the smothering old deaconess with pillows, son murdering, smiling and killing a niqqa for fun Kanan. The way Kanan is presented in power, I would think he would probably been a lightweight Kenard as a youth, but he’s more so a less spoiled and bratty version of Namond.

Low key, I truly think they are trying desperately too hard to show how Kanan and Tariq are similar through this prequel. Raq and Kanan’s relationship is similar to Tasha and Tariq’s relationship prepackaged retroactively, minus Ghost, Reina, and Yaz.
