I do believe they will be browsing on the comics for inspiration, in addition to some real world stuff, and blend them together.

Wakandan attire should be somewhat different than African attire as we know it, being that they have been an isolationist nation for as long as they have.

Bad because Coates is going to be drinking his own damn kool-aid and thinking it's cool to have a group as powerful as The Crew get 3 pages of "action"

Good thing Coates already said he wouldn't be involved on this film. A Coates-influenced film would be cool for a sequel or third movie, not sure about the first one.

Then again...Chadwick and Coogler already said that they are keeping up with the Coates run so....

Coogler is a great story teller. So I believe he could tell Coates story in a way..that could have the audience buy in.

I have faith that Coogler will get it done, and done well. It's just...reading some of the Coates stuff in the comics is one thing, especially as one who is already very familiar with the BP-mythos.

Having some of those things in the first movie, as the first impression the general audience--hell, the world tbh--will see? It needs to be done very, very carefully. The same thing applies for all the BP runs, but there were some parts of it that are straight up , and I don't even hate his run like that either.
