Cap gets a new suit in every movie so I hope T'Challa gets various vesions as well. The suit with the gold would look great in live action

I like the kobe fro and goatee/side burns combo. I hope that gets standardized in comics and outside media by 2018

Numbers for June 2016 are in, and Black Panther #3 did better than I expected.

Keep in mind that BP #2 sold 77k, so that's only a 2k decrease. Very positive on the sales front.
BP #3 is the second highest-selling Marvel solo title that isn't Star Wars affiliated, only behind Deadpool which sold 78.5k. Even outsold Cap #2 and Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man #1.
At this rate, this run will easily be the highest selling BP run by far and in much less time.

Shocked by it myself. Here I was expecting a 10-15k drop, and instead its only a 2k drop. And the book sales are still high, despite everything. This is amazing.
I def expected Cap #2 to sell higher than BP, but the King prevailed.
