I just think with the lack of character development for T'Challa in BP, I don't see it being done well and introducing new characters as well. :patrice: IMO I rather keep the BP solo films mostly T'Challa/Wakanda orientated for the most part. I think only the Russo's were able to pull it off with Civil War and even then cap was already built up previously.

They need to keep BP2 simple, and that means putting the focus back on T'Challa and giving him just 1 good villain. I've stated before that Madam Slay is the perfect villain because she also sets up Killmonger for the finale. RC is a GOAT director but his only mistake was focusing on everyone but T'Challa. BP in Civil War was more like how he is in the comics.

I don't think its the fact they focused on everyone but T'Challa. I just think this is by far the best supporting cast/characters in an MCU film. Probably the best in a comic book film in general. Its so unusually especially for the first film that its going to seem a bit off. Also the character was still finding his way. I expect a more in command/confident T'Challa.

This was Coogler's take on Hamlet so there's more depth/layers going on with the character than typical comic leads. Also Boseman's performance is so subtle that it can be overlooked if you're not use to it from the hero. :manny:
