Still think bucky shoulda had somethin in BP to help them fight off killmonger. Its like theirs a hidden ace card in the deck noone realizes they can use and then he pops up at the end. I get it but homie shoulda shown up somewhere causing havoc allowing tchala to get close to KM

They won't do it but BP should become the new leader of the Avengers in the MCU. superior intellect, enhanced abilities plus better tech than Iron Man.

People oooohhing and aaahhhing over Stark, meanwhile Tchalla and Suri like :martin:

Him being the leader of the avengers would create even more conflict in his country. It's already controversial for him to share his tech with the world but to then leave your country and follow the orders of the UN made up of a round table of white overseers would be horrible :pachaha:

Wasn't feeling the Oakland scenes. Oakland is a majority non-black suburb so I don't like how they edited it to make it look urban when it's not. I didn't believe Killmonger came from the trenches like his comic counterpart (old Harlem, NY). They should of kept his harlem origins.

we don't fight other men shirtless in Harlem

This nikka was wrestling cyber-rhinos to the ground with his bare hands and shyt and dudes talking about "I didn't feel T'Challa's physical prowess in this one brehs I hope they address it in the sequel" :pachaha:

Just say you want more action and call it a day. As much as I adore the film I acknowledge it as a fair desire for the sequel.

Let's not get too carried away with borderline hyperbole. More action specifically for T'Challa is the all but universal feedback for improvement in the sequel, especially in the hand-to-hand scenes. It's "ok" for a goat-tier movie to have recognized areas for improvement.

I already mentioned how they shared the wealth with the character to better heighten his supporting cast and villain. In the next one they can keep that establishment while revving up certain intangibles for the titular character.

Box office wise, it'll catch Harry Potter. And has a decent chance of passing 700 million.

It's 7 million from that milestone after making 3.1 million this weekend, after making 4 million the weekend before. And about 300k each week day.

The dvd release next week may affect the remainder of it's box office run though, otherwise it'd need just 2-3 weeks of 2mill deliveries to get to 700m. It'd be a nice lil cherry on top but ultimately just more sprinkles and icing at this point

No...I think you mean more action for Black Panther.

T'Challa put in a lot of work in BP. He just didn't have as much in suit action as expected. Since they've already used up the Waterfall fight angle they'll load up on more BP action.

A lot of critiques overlook the waterfall fights because "he wasn't in the suit and had no powers":ld:

I'm sure they'll double down though.

Low key wish they waited a couple weeks...think it could have broke the Avengers record...maybe they see it as being short lived anyway with Infinity War.

Nah, I meant what i said: more action for T'Challa. Especially the h2h. I already expanded on this the other day when i brought up the casino scene. I also brought up the waterfall fight scenes too and what i thought of them. i.e. T'Challa getting his butt embarrassed and thrown off a cliff by Killmonger was necessary for the movie, and showing M'Baku as near equal to him was also necessary to show how great M'Baku is..

..but now that that's out the way, i'd like to see more entertaining fights of T'Challa vs grunts, and depending on who the villains are, i'd like to see him wash a mid level boss or two in an entertaining way just to show that Erik and M'Baku are Erik and M'Baku but the rest of yall would get this work without the suit

It could've. I was annoyed that they announced the dvd release this early to be honest. As much as i want to have the blue ray, i wanted to get a bit greedy with the accolades, especially the ones well within reach.

Hopefully for part 2 they get same stunt team/fight chorography team for Civil War or someone like Jeff Ward who has been stunt coordinator and fight coordinator for many years for Snipes in most of his action movies, he's also workedwith Spike Lee many times too. He's also an second unit director too. He's a great martial artist as well. I think he would be a good fit for them if they wanted someone with experience on both small and larger scale productions.
