Question brehs do you think Kilmonger was justified in his cause tbh his reasoning sounds somehat akin to alot of militant talk i see nowadays albeit somewhat extreme

also that last quote Kilmonger said before he "died" :wow:
Of course he was justified. Killmonger showed black folks how you have to be, whereas T'Challa is on some let's help everyone bullshyt.

Killmonger had a real effect on me after this. How could Wakanda sit back and allow black people all over the world to suffer racism, apartheid, and other bullshyt throughout centuries. They had all the resources, yet sit on their laurels.

His last line made me shed a tear no lie.

Breh you got a black kid living in 90's Oakland... whose pops gets murdered (as does everyone else around him)... watching blacks get they head buss all around the world. Then figuring out that there is a place hidden in africa (that you have a birthright to) that will allow you to rise up Blacks across the globe and fight back against their cac oppressor...to restore Blacks as the world leader in scientific and military excellence.

Killmonger was a dope representation of the Hebrew Israelite's 2nd coming Messiah...not coming back on some humble/political shyt.. but with a sword...raining fire on his enemies for what they did to his people.

Would you kill a few hundred wakandans in exchange for black global liberation and dominance?

The answer is yes :mjlol:.

All. Hail. King. Killmonger :wow:

while i think mbj did the damn thing as killmonger, and that he is easily the best marvel villain on screen to date, his plan does spark the question: if given the chance, would we (blacks) treat whites like they have done us, or just tell them to fukk off?....as much as getting revenge would feel right/justified, i've always fallen on the latter of that: i'd just tell them to fukk off....tell them to do them and we wont fukk that up; as long as they let us do us and dont fukk with it...

I agree Killmonger was spitting fire from the Museum when he was calling out white people for stealing to the very end with that poignant line. No offense to anyone out there but the Wakanda way reminded me a little of nigerians and other africans in the sense that even though we're all the same black skin they look down on diff tribes or people from diff countries, like oh I'm Igbo I'm better than Hausa's. Killmonger viewed anyone with black skin as black, he realized everyone was needed to come together not division to strike the heart of white supremacy.

And like you mentioned that scene bothered me, the one cac in wakanda merking black pilots in their ship who were basically delivering the death star plans to white supremacy, dude stayed in that cockpit till the bitter end

then you got t'challa at the un looking like emperor hirohito at the Allied GHQ :scust:

the bold is why when i talk about black history during this month, i dont limit it to african american history....our history didnt start with us being slaves....

White dude next to me was complaining to his gf that he hated Michael B Jordan’s acting in the movie.

:comeon:

We know why he was really mad though.

:sas2:

Micheal B Jordan was THE highlight of the movie.

What I loved:

-Took it to the US, Oakland to be exact to show how black people are mostly struggling and making it by any means.
-The movie pulled no punches and laid shyt out like it is.
-Not many people agreed with the King. Realistic take on leadership and being unpopular while making tough decisions.
-Michael B Jordan kicking facts.
-The tribes challenging for the throne.
-The culture and unfiltered or watered down blackness.

What was meh:

-Final battle.
-The King hardly showed emotions.
-Zuri’s death was underwhelming.
-Agent Ross wasn’t needed.
-Klaw’s death was underwhelming. I wish they made him beg to live.

Overall, I loved it. Gonna see it again.
