Pretty much made a bunch of absentee ballots void because of the state’s and board of election’s fault. This is why I’m going in person. There’s too much fukkery in nyc elections, just like in 2018 during the governor primary where people mysteriously were purged and a bunch of nycha residents had appointments set for Election Day. I fukking hate Cuomo and to see him getting all that praise this year made no sense if you know how he actually is and to make matters worse, we’re stuck with him cause there’s no term limits.

This is the big takeaway I got from this.

Election experts said first-time absentee voters are much more likely to make the kinds of mistakes that lead to rejected ballots. Studies also show that voters of color and young voters are more likely than others to have their ballots not count.

Most absentee or mail-in ballots are rejected because required signatures are missing or don't match the one on record, or because the ballot arrives too late.

It's not like people are throwing them out, but people really need to pay attention to shyt else their ballot isn't counted.

I don't believe in Post-Convention bounces much anymore, or at least in this election. Most of the people who are going to Vote Dem, hate Trump, will be voting for Biden. Plus in this case, it's not like there is a choice between choosing sides as Trump, aside from all that he has done, hasn't shown a plan for his 2nd term if he won it.

Instead all he has done is double down on his base, who would be voting for him.

So it effectively wipes out Independents as they will be voting for Biden for the most part.
