I don’t think Obama was wrong about Biden. He’s not a strong candidate and frankly he’s lucky to run against Trump during a pandemic where he doesn’t have to do public events or take questions. Every other time he does an interview he says something stupid. Imagine that happening in a regular situation without Covid, with a decent economy.

It took a generational talent to break the Clinton machine in 2008. I just don’t believe Biden could have done that in 2016. We would have seen a cynical, ugly campaign that would attack Biden on sex and his “touching problem” and all types of other shyt. They would have embarrassed Biden.

Hillary would likely win the women vote. Older people for Biden, young people prob go to Hillary. Hillary would eventually get the edge with black voters IMO.

Depends on if he started in Spring of 2015 or Fall 2015... cause Bernie rose in the polls that summer and so if Biden started in the Fall, he may have messed around into 3rd place. Which would have helped Bernie but also put a situation where you have no one getting majority of pledged delegates. And back then, super delegates already had committed too.

Joe Biden isn't a very exciting candidate. The only reason he's seen as ideal is because we have a radical retard in office and people aren't really looking to go from radical to radical.
