We know those guys are hardcore Republicans. Rick Wilson made some notoriously shytty anti-Obama ads in Florida in his heyday. Conway still argues Republican talking points during any case not Trump-related. I respect that.

Still, we need all the help we can get at this point.

Those guys' ads are targeted to people like them. Democrats don't know how to target that audience.

Once its all wrapped up, they can go back to calling all of us commie-loving socialists and them anti-human scum like we used to.

I enjoy the Lincoln Project but there is no evidence that republican voters are shifting to Biden in a major way. In fact poll after poll shows him with 95% or more of the GOP vote. Biden's strength is moreso with independents, many of whom are ashamed or former republicans. Maybe the Lincoln Project helps on that front.

But consider that most of their ads are only online, meaning they are largely parroted and promoted amongst liberals. Thus becoming a circle jerk. They've put up a couple ads on TV but they're running many in DC, just so Trump can see them. Not sure how that helps democrats.

There's not much point in attack ad spending right now with the virus dominating all the headlines/news. I get what Biden is doing. Targeting some swing states is smart, and I'm sure the spending will ramp up in August when shyt really gets official.

I don’t think the aim is Trumps most loyal voters. The balance is what they are shooting for and what Trump can’t afford the leak any votes or enthusiasm from.

Not a winning strategy. COVID hitting Trump country will not pay for him, just like I said in March.

:gladbron:

Holy fukk, it's getting even worse.

I admit I'm still worried about the voter suppression but nah, 2 fukking THIRDS of the country don't fukk with you, he's getting washed.
