The ACA wasn’t what caused most of those Democrats to lose. It was Democrats governing a bad economy and being unwilling to take the fight to Republicans and to pass a second stimulus. They surrendered the argument to republicans like they always do. By some point in August they will find a way to fumble again and hopefully people just hate Trump so much that they vote his ass out.

This is what’s often ignored, and this is why I want the Progressives to form their own party. Or at the very least have a movement with the same energy as the Tea Party/MAGA types. No compromising, politics is war without bloodshed so start winning these battles instead of calling for peace treaties even when you got the upper hand. For the short term fukk it, play nice with Dems, but the long process of creating a viable third party should be undertaken starting right now.
