The only thing I feel confident about with respect to future elections is that we aren't going back to the days of Romney/McCain/Dole/HW Bush republican nominees. Ben Sasse, Nikki Haley, and all these other "normal" republicans are finished. All that matters is who can win enough of Trump's base to win the republican nomination. After that, can any republican win the presidency? Sure. All it takes is a slim win in MI/PA/WI/etc, and demographics are trending their way. I don't think AZ and GA will be reliable blue states in the near term...they're purple states that will flip back and forth depending on the candidate.

But does Ted Cruz have the ability to win that type of race? Tom Cotton? Mike Pence? I doubt it.

Is that Rob Reiner the movie director?

He’s one of the most lowkey legends in the game. Spielberg took all of his shine.
Thats cuz Spielberg was making the biggest movies if all time. Can't compete with that. But yeah Reiner goes nuts on Twitter.

Still, this is all just subversion from what it means to hold Biden accountable.

And that starts with what he was elected on and what people expect him to follow through on? Seems fair, at least with Obama you can point to the lack of a Public Option in Obamacare, it's horrible rollout, and military adventurism dissuading voters as possible reasons despite him still mainlining the high favorability among black and dem voters that propelled him to two elections.

So again, what does holding JOE BIDEN accountable look like? you like to write a lot so this shouldn't be a large ask.
You apparently don't know what "subversion" means. :deadrose:

I'm not going to hold him to a single set of policies - I have very low expectations so he doesn't need to match my policy desires in order to surpass them. There are multiple potential roads to the same endgame. All he needs to do, one way or another, is take major, serious steps to close the Black-White wealth gap, close the Black-White health care gap, fix the severe disadvantage that Black kids have in the schooling they get, hold police accountable for discrimination against and oppression of the Black community, make the justice system equal to everyone, and end environmental racism. If he makes a strong effort towards those goals and yet fails due to Republican obstructionism, or comes up short simply because that sorta shyt takes a long time to heal, then that's fine. But if the visible, overt effort isn't there, he and anyone in the legislature who is similarly failing to serve their base should be gone.

I was saying because a lot of people automatically assume that a lot of Reiner’s movies are Spielberg’s because of the similar look and feel. I had always sworn Back to the Future was Spielberg until I got older.
I think you're confusing Robert Zemeckis with Reiner. Spielberg produced bttf tho.
