Pretty convincing? I remember why it's so painful to argue with you. A mere 0.3% shift of results in the swing states would have cost Biden the election and that's despite the massive boost he got from mail-in voting, early voting, and pandemic/economic anger. Great evidence that he should just rest on his laurels, right?
The same could be said of Trump in 2016 who lost by even smaller margins, but you are using that as proof-positive as some type of massive voter swing. :comeon:

Do you disagree with racial backlash against Obama from white voters as being real or are you still on the economic anxiety angle?

Black voter turnout nationally dropped a full 6% from 2012 to 2016. You're right that it was a return to the norm, because the norm is that Black voters are perpetually disillusioned and don't feel that government is actually concerned with their interests.

And in terms of the 2016 election, the numbers were much worse in the critical states (up to nearly a 20% drop) than they were nationally and certainly played a big role in Clinton's loss.

Study: Black voter turnout in Wisconsin in 2016 declined by nearly 20%

This Chart Shows Philadelphia Black Voters Stayed Home, Costing Clinton

Low Black Turnout May Have Cost Clinton the Election

4.4 million 2012 Obama voters stayed home in 2016, more than a third of them Black

Census shows pervasive decline in 2016 minority voter turnout

you're not even comparing like for like data. But it seems you're intent on blaming black voters for Clinton losing, despite Biden winning while doing worse among black voters than both Obama and Clinton. :unimpressed:

Still, this is all just subversion from what it means to hold Biden accountable.

And that starts with what he was elected on and what people expect him to follow through on? Seems fair, at least with Obama you can point to the lack of a Public Option in Obamacare, it's horrible rollout, and military adventurism dissuading voters as possible reasons despite him still mainlining the high favorability among black and dem voters that propelled him to two elections.

So again, what does holding JOE BIDEN accountable look like? you like to write a lot so this shouldn't be a large ask.

Just to be clear, most people don't think Biden is even going to run for a second term. If that's the case, traditional recourse, such as not voting for their re-election is off the table creating a scenario, which in my opinion seems likely, that you're going to get what you're going to get. Especially in a scenario where Republicans maintain control of the senate.

MAGA still out here saying Biden won’t be president, it’s wild. This will officially be over on Monday but we know they won’t stop trying. I’m just curious whether Trump will try a military coup. It won’t work but surely he has people in his ear egging him to try.
Never ever imagined i would see this shyt in America. Apparently Milo was on parler yelling the South will rise again?

Crazy times.

Y'all do realize that the "Trump factor" works both ways? 80 million voted against and 73 million voted for. Meaning that Trump more than any other GOP candidate that I can remember DOES have the ability to get his people to the polls.

So you can say that Biden (or generic Dem) "won't have the boogeyman to run against" but that boogeyman IS the Republican party. We don't know how voters will respond without Trump on the ticket.

Many right now judging by these Parler reactions and other social media outrage are saying voting doesn't work, the vote is rigged, no point in voting... will some of these conspiracy theorists even show their face in 2024?

We know the hardcore GOP base always shows up but that base isn't 73 million people. There were many people uneducated bums who voted for Trump that never voted in their entire lives prior to this election.

that’s the hope

without trump, GOP goes back to doing Romney/McCain numbers. I am convinced the amount of low-info new voters who showed up for trump (and threw polls off like crazy) WON’T show up for a less charismatic, less universally known, more typical R candidate - which is any R candidate but a trump. can dems maintain enough turnout to turn those numbers to Ws? we’ll see

and it’s critical for dems to tie the entire GOP to trump, paint them as the “boogeyman” complicit with everything trump did to keep as many D voters who showed up in 2020 at the polls moving forward
