The main reason these states voted Democratic is backlash from the Civil War and the reason they vote Republican today is backlash against Civil Rights struggle.

These people are driven in large part by their hatred and resentment of black and other people. If really is that simple.

Who is saying it isn't a currency? I have read books on this topic. Wages of Whiteness is a great read on this topic.

But we have evidence of white people being racists as fukk yet also supporting union colleagues of different races because they saw each other as the working class. And this was in the south, midwest, etc.

Race and class are intertwined. There is a reason why elites and the elite bootlickers want to separate the two.
