Trumpland would be a shythole country, economic wasteland, and environmental hazard to the world.

real USA would thrive economically yet have no military prowess

we don’t need to break apart so much as completely overhaul our political system. Both are equally hard and nearly impossible
Genuine question based on that fact that 70 million people in the USA are batshyt crazy.

Would anyone be upset if they actually broke away and did their own thing?

This feels like a turning point for white supremacy in the US. It won't hide away anymore. It has to be eliminated or there needs to be a change.

It won't go anywhere and I think Rudy knows this. This is just red meat for their base. Need to keep them fired up for the next power grab. It's going to be a rough couple of years for the rest of the country

It could backfire spectacularly though.

There's a Georgia runoff in January.

They keep harping on this, it will depress turnout, and the GOP will lose those two seats.

So at some point in time GOP leaders are going to have to pull a plug on this.

What are you even arguing. If I create a program where people at or below the poverty line receive a benefit, most of the people who qualify will be white. You do realize block people are less than 14% of the population right.

This is also a weird ass way to view policy. If the goal is to help as many black people as you can, why do you even care that struggling white people will receive help too. There is no way to directly target blacks people with economic help like that. Even ideas that would help bolster blacks, like targeting infrastructure in heavily black areas of inner cities (which was a focus of one of the first reparations ideas from the 20th century) would also help whites.

breh it's the "cut the check or nothing" TLR position that's just being argued in a roundabout way and I want reparations everyone does however you cannot just look at government through one idea and if it doesn't work out exactly how you wanted then you're going to give up all your voting power....

IF the Biden team follows through with half of the policy they are pushing forward it will be very beneficial and anyone who wants to argue that Trump and Republicans are "the same" is pretty clueless also... we are not hearing anything like this from the GOP and never would.

Its especially ridiculous because its nothing like the Russia bullshyt - by telling their voters to NOT trust the voting process, how the fukk are they going to continue to drive turnout? :russ:

You'd think they'd learn when discouraging people regarding mail-in ballots during a pandemic backfired less than a week ago

Do y'all think its possible Trump shyts on the two rethug senators running in Georgia if they don't kiss his ass enough? I know republican politciams can't wait to move on from him but his hold on the majority of their base doesn't just vanish because he lost
Democratic voters are mobilised in Georgia. It really remains to be seen how much Trump drove voter turnout.

I personally can't imagine Trump giving a shyt about those two senators.

The only chance the GOP has is to offer him a platform to have lots of rallies as that seems to be the only thing he enjoys.

After Monday, however, when the courts dismiss his cases they are going to be walking a tightrope.

Yes. But I'm guessing it's Trump - who is no great thinker - directing things. At this point Rudy is so far gone he would swim in a sewer if Trump asked him to. Most likely Magaland will be so incensed they will resort to violence. They already tried to kidnap a Governor, sooner or later they will succeed in some kind of terrorism.

Yes, and that's when the country will get serious, because Trump won't condemn it and people will be incensed.
