Obama 08' will always be the best for me. It was like with Obama, you were like, "Man, he is a pretty respectable black candidate." but then he started to pull away from Hillary, and got it. And then you had McCain, who chose Palin, but Obama simply was charismatic that by election day... you just felt it was going to happen.
It felt like pure magic
I cried like a baby that night. I was 19 and that was my first election I participated in.
EDIT: The total for Georgia flashed on that screen for me. Even with the potential first black president McCain won that state 59 to 40.
The progress we've made in that state has been impressive and it really amplifies the job that Stacey Abrams did. She won this shyt for us, high key. We need her to help lay that same groundwork in other southern states. We have the numbers. We need to get them registered.
