since when did bernie become the face of the progressives? lmao. yal really subscribed to some dnc nonsense

Probably when the most prominent progressive voices spent the entire election cycle crying that Bernie got screwed over by losing by 9 million votes in the primary, then claimed he would have beat Trump with all 538 electoral votes.

:dwillhuh:AOC replies to a tweet mentioning her organizing thread by propping up Kelly and Hickenlooper and saying TV is the past, FB is the future. How is that making it about her? Am I missing another tweet?
There is another tweet talking about being progressive isn’t the reason for the losses but rather the lack of using digital media. I don’t know if she was responding to anybody, but I said this ain’t the time for this and that you can’t compare the NY political scene versus what the other folks own south have to deal with.

I felt all along that KY was a lost cause. However, SC was a diff story, it appeared Jamie had a fighting chance. That perception was based on inaccurate polling. Dianne Feinstein also did the Dems no favors hugging & PRAISING Lindsey after the ACB confirmation.

In hindsight, money should've been directed to ME, GA, and NC.
Your'e 100% on SC. Kentucky was obviously a vanity project for them, especially when they could have done better if they backed Booker who had support from the local party. The bungling of the SC nomination probably had some to do with Susan Collins winning too.

I think everyone will agree Schumer and Feinstein need to go way before Nancy :russ:

fukk outta here.

Joe had been favored over Trump since 2018. Joe didn't get defined that's the whole fukking reason he won.

You have no clue what are talking about. You really using these BS polls even after they’ve been proving wrong? You really acting like getting into Fl and TX late didn’t happened? Biden barely scrapped by against an incompetent racist. Discussions need to happen because the next populist rethug whose not a buffon won’t give a stumbling bland party dem like say Harris easy layups

Instead of talking about Stacy Abram, a black woman who flipped the state of Georgia blue...

We're talking about AOC, a congresswoman in a 70% blue district in NYC whose crowning achievement is Tik Tok notoriety...:heh:

And notice how Abrams isn’t on Twitter bein all loud about this shyt. Her only tweets are congrats to house winners and her encouraging people to acknowledge all The people who had a hand in this, at a moment when the whole party is shouting her name.

I like AOC and her ideas, but I think what is rubbing people the wrong way is how she’s so willing to get publicly combatitive within her own party. This isn’t about Centrist v. Progressive. I voted for Bernie enthusiastically. But these tweets publicly calling out members of your own party feels self serving and narcissistic, that’s all.

I (and many others) thought Biden would do a little better this election given the state of the country and how awful Trump has been. And nobody in the democratic party is above criticsm.

Now is not the time though.
He'll end up with 290-306 EVs at a 4-5% margin. Post-WWII there have only been 3 challengers outside of Biden to flip the White House. People typically stick with the incumbent so Trump's awfulness isn't much of a factor.
