I consider myself progressive and that AOC is (rightfully imo) the future of the Democratic party. I think that the current criticisms of her are misguided and that we shouldn't determine what is right/wrong based on how the Republicans frame things, but also I think it is many current progressives are misguided complaining that Joe Biden "didn't even win by a lot". and presume that a more progressive candidate would've won by as much (or at all)

They called her out though. She was just stating how some left and more centrist candidate did better by focusing on online campaigning.

Plus there will be infighting because they have different sets of policy ideals (big tent party). They tried primarying all the members of the squad and got beat. They added "members" while the Dems lost seats. There's only infighting because the current dem party is only concerned with maintaining their status of power instead of governing to maintain power.

The GOP does have it easier because they just want tax cuts and to maintain their racist base. The leadership of the dem need to find a way to maneuver between the ideologies because the country will continue to go left policy wise as was seen by some of the ballot measure voted on in the election.

You are correct that current Dem party does have things to work on and they are just as guilty for calling her out. The GOP definitely has infighting among them, but they all fell in line to get what they wanted. We don't. I remember that it wasn't only Republicans that go in the way during the Obama presidency. It was Dems too, which making feel like we're going to go back to same old bullshyt. We have similar ideologies, but can't stay unified long enough for anything.
