I think it was the Trump effect on the ballot, he mobilizes voters like no GOP President since Reagan. That's why the district polling being off in some of these places scrambling.

Trump campaign in South FL was going at Biden and the Dems with no rebuff for 6-7 weeks on TV, Radio on the socialism sucks message.

Some of these other members who lost have a good amount of Latinos in their districts too.

Breh, it's been more than a few weeks. They've been running "socialism" ads on Latino radio since January. I was hearing about this stuff in March. Remember I told you back then that I sensed a shift in Trump's strategy towards Latinos.

If we're going to attribute the Republican turnout to Trump then I think we also need to acknowledge the inflated Dem turnout is partly due to anti-Trump sentiment. I think both pretty much cancel each other out when he's not on the ballot.

Incumbents have a large natural advantage. Even Democrats. And I can't see Biden being a non halfway decent POTUS.

The biggest problem... that defunding the police is a necessary reform where corrupt police unions and department extort cities for ridiculous budgets without accountability or oversight.

Yet, these are closed door discussion not meant for the public.
