Great thread, progressives generally have subpar persuasive skills. In many ways they remind me of tech bros and libertarians in that they mistakenly think being "right" is more than enough.

Yep!

Younger Dems need to stop talking down to older people as if they have archaic ideas and aren't as smart as them. They often think that just because they're right that it means they've won the room, and they aren't always able to speak to older people in a language they understand. Older dems are not all the way sold on the younger Dems as of now.

2024 you have to favor the Republicans. There really isn't any stars in the Democrats is there? AOC, I don't buy it. We not ready for a woman President, let alone a POC. Also, don't think she's old enough. So all women are out. Who's a star male out there for the Dems. Republicans will just vote whoever the R nominee is. It looks bleak out there.

I expect a extreme low turnout for both parties

Clinton and Biden "talked policy" by trying to talk about it as little as possible and when pressed threw out "well something kinda like what Bernie is putting out, but not as extreme"

How is that a viable strategy for anyone who is not an anointed "next in line, it's their turn" candidate?
