Thinking about so Trump making so many inroads to minority voters...:patrice:

Phonte from Little Brother made a great point, he said that many black people over 40 (especially in rural areas) are pretty damn conservative on social issues. Lots of pro-life and at the very least not championing gay marriage and LGBTQ issues.

I mean if anyone on here goes to TLR or even The Booth they can't be surprised to see a fair amount of homophobic comments.

I don't know how many of these translated to Trump votes, but it's worth dissecting and thinking about.
Eh, we've known that for decades. I think the Dems just took that for granted, because they think we're a monolith. Which in itself is racist.

I went to sleep at about 1:30 and felt pretty good. Slept like a baby.

Not once did I feel Biden was in real trouble. There was some early disappointment mainly due to pre-election hype about Florida and Texas. But that was our fault for believing that dumb shyt. Everything else was pretty smooth sailing for Biden. Especially once Arizona went.
Yep once I saw biden get AZ, I was like it's over for trump. We that's even less states that we need.

That was how I felt regarding, TX, FL, GA, OH, etc

Sure thoses place would have been nice, but the upper mid west is what counts.

Great thread, progressives generally have subpar persuasive skills. In many ways they remind me of tech bros and libertarians in that they mistakenly think being "right" is more than enough.

I agree. Then they come from that place of arrogance because they know they're right and that can turn ppl off.

im still not really convinced at trump making significant inroads with black voters, but all the signs suggested that if he was overperforming with black voters it was younger voters who have been disillusioned with the dem party over the last ten years. older black voters i think were solidly democratic
