Trump is Trump. He is going to challenge everything. A narcassistic President with a lot to lose. Dude won't go into the night peaceably.
yeah, but theres a difference between doing it with the support of your party and doing it yourself

the republican senate has no reason or appetite to go along with trump challengimg a clear biden victory

Even if Biden wins it just feels life a hollow victory. The fact it was this close just feels so fukking disheartening. I don't know, I feel the same sense of hopelessness and despair that I did 4 years ago. This wasn't a reflection of fascism and trumpism, this was a really sloppy baseball game that went into extra innings because defense and the bullpen kept blowing leads and now you just want the game to be over with. And on top of that I am very deeply conflicted over the people in my life that I've loved or respected that have joined the Trump cult, I can't look at them the same and don't want them in my life anymore, it's just a really shytty feeling.

America is dissatisfied, news at 11.

Well, America should be dissatisfied. If Biden wins it will be close, but historic in the sense that incumbents like Trump shouldn't typically lose out during such difficult tumultuous times. But the country also should have totally rejected Trump, but didn't.

The Senate is red enough to be obstructive, and hateful enough to kneecap Biden out the gate. Pretty much my worst fear 11 months ago before the pandemic. This will help usher in Cotton and Haley in 2024, and push Harris into the nomination, which is a disaster because people seem to hate her.

If Biden wins, ironically in the short and long-term, Republicans win. Even if it is good that Trumpism is pushed back on it is fukked that it would be this close. America is fukked. They want Trumpism.

Oh and btw liberals, moderates, conservatives and Trumpers want Democrats to drop identity based issues like a hot potato. So there goes us, brehs.

Democrats about to be irrelevant for 4 to 8 years. Interesting that Republicans get to subvert Democracy and the government and barely receive no flakk but Democrats might want to implement programs that help the American people and they are the enemy of the people.

America should just separate brehs. This shyt is done.

Truth is we were never voting to win just to maintain for 4 more years. If Biden pulls this off, we basically just roll things back to Obama's second term.

Basically. I asked my black “don’t vote both sides are the same” cousin (I have three Trump supporting cousins :wow:) why he had issues with Joe Biden and the Democrats. He brought up the 94 Crime Bill and Biden making it harder for blacks to discharge student loans. I asked him how he felt about Betsy Devos then? He said who is Betsy Devos :wow:
The irony is... underneath it all...TRUMP AND THE GOP SUPPORT THE 94 CRIME BILL TOO

The 94 Crime Bill is essentially the GOP platform with regards to Criminal Justice

So your cousins trying to criticize Biden for it is laughable

They are saying Biden is on pace to have more total votes than Obama. You can only squeeze so much juice out of this fruit. We have to realize that trumpism is just very strong in this country. Yeah the dems have to make inroads with Latinos and etc but we also just have to concede that America is doing what it does best, preserve white supremacy.
If all you offer them to choose from is bringing back decency and normality when they actually want legislation that helps them yeah they are going to choose white supremacy over weaker intablngibles.

holy shyt is this a naive post :dead:

do you know how many upper middle class registered democrats would have voted trump over warren?

Im an upper middle class Dem and I would have voted for Warren. Voting Trump would have never been on the table for me.

How many people of the 150m that voted do you think really went through the policies for these candidates? Not many. Its all about energizing the base. People will even vote against their own interest if they like the candidate. Warren trashing Trump and Pence would have worked well everywhere. She has the policies to back up her trash talk for the few in each party that look at the policies. It wouldnt be close.
