How many mail in ballots are thought to be left to count in PA?
Roughly 1.8mil, 78 percent of mail in ballots in PA have been from Dems so far

Basically most Trump voters voted in
person and most of the Trump votes are in at this point for PA which is why Trump is up 700k

Assuming dems are the majority of the mail ins they should be able to catch up

When they say going too far left, they are not talking about economics

they are talking about critical race theory, transgenderism, defunding police, etc

I agree although in some cases it is economics. I would guess that they would be okay with a good amount of left wing economics, but not to the extent that the DSA wants.

But yeah, it's mostly the culture war stuff.

Doesn't Biden support the vast majority of the positions the progressive left wants?

He advocated for $15 minimum wage, public healthcare, pathway to citizenship, massive tax hikes on the wealthy, police reform, etc.

I am skeptical of the idea that he would have got more votes by being further left. It could be true, but I honestly think that Trump and his ilk have controlled the "narrative" enough over the last 5 years that it might not matter.
He doesn't support Medicare for All or legalization of weed and he said he wants to pump a lot more money into law enforcement.

That's possible, but I feel like we didn't see nearly enough of Biden this campaign season. I loved that he had a 15$ minimum wage plan but it drove me crazy that he didn't hammer home the fact that he did way more often. His campaign tried to hide him too much from the cameras IMO

Yeah polling died for good this year too. You cannot be off by 6-7 points in all these states and say it works. 2016 they got away with the margin of error. They are off way more than even 2016 was. shyt, it's almost the opposite in some areas of what the polls said.

Also, national polls with Biden +10 all this time? Obviously he will win the popular vote but it won't be anywhere near ten points. Clinton was +2 maybe Biden is +3

Some people give Obama a lot of shyt for ‘not doing enough’ or not going full send on a super liberal agenda.

Maybe he was onto something w/ being a bit more ‘centrist’ and making some plays that mighta pissed off some people further left, but made him palatable enough for the rest of the country to consider voting for.

If they win mail in by 78% that's a net of +1M votes for Biden.

This is too close for comfort

He had the power of personality too. That matters in presidential elections as we're continuing to see. Hillary had none and Biden doesn't either.

what's crazy is we might see tighter margins in NC and GA than the damn midwest. :mindblown: if the midwest is permanantly lost, we're fukked. joe was supposed to appeal to them, but maybe he should've doubled down with klob or gretch or some other midwest VP...or sherrod brown should've fukking run, we're fukked in the senate either way, would've rather lost his seat to win the presidency :to:

It's CACS... it's all too simple... they would rather die than see blacklivesmatter signs and t-shirts and protests. Wisconsin people are dying left and right of covid and they don't care.

Also, TLR expects these same people to be receptive of reparation talk? That is completely out the window. They voted against racial equality tonight.
