Officers are typically very educated, read frequently, and are in school constantly.

Trump does everything opposite of what they are taught. And I mean everything.

He regularly berated generals to the point Rex Tillerson has to step in and defend the generals. Don’t think that news didn’t spread through the grapevine.

What do people think about the likeliness of turning the border restrictions into new policy, politically speaking, it gives a somewhat muted win to his base, but also hurts the Mexican/latino vote.

Unlikely for the very reason you named. They will continue to leverage ICE against Latinos while taking advantage of their votes in places like southern FL, central CA and TX.

I guess those who were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt are over that shyt. It's still fukking insane how high is approval is given his blunders. I give him credit for being an excellent conman and cult leader.

Just for comparison, here are the lows for presidents going back to Carter.

  1. Obama 40 (2014-09-05)[h]
  2. Bush 25 (2008-10-05, 2008-10-12, 2008-11-02)
  3. Clinton 37 (1993-06-06)
  4. H. W. Bush 29 (1992-08-02, 1992-10-13)
  5. Reagan 35 (1983-01-31)
  6. Carter 28 (1979-06-26, 1979-10-02)
Trump being at 40 percent is interesting doing much better than Bush last year

HW Bush numbers in 1992 are :damn:

Trump seems to have 37-38% as his floor which is where he was end of 2017 and when the government shutdown happened early 2019.

I truly think Trump will hit his floor within the next few months.

His daily distractions and lack of vision are turning people off who would normally look the other way because they had a job and relative health.

This is the exact reason why Biden is going slow and steady. He's unraveling in real time.

Clinton was polling well but lost by 18 points cause the third party candidate got over 20%.

This poll has Biden consolidating that a bit.

But there’s no way I can see Biden winning the state
Lots of people in Utah don't like trump
