Just dropped me ballot and my girlfriend's off in Vegas. Dropped at the early polling place. Took longer to find a parking spot then it took to vote. Straight Dem up and down the ballot.

Also explained the central park 5 to my little nephews so they know what kind of devils the trumps are

We can blame Democratic leadership all we want but some blame also has to go on the voters. Why did California voters re-elect an out-of-touch 85 year old woman to the Senate in 2018? Why was Democratic voter turnout so abysmal in 2014? Why do Democrats need a jolt to show up in the midterms? (2006 midterms after Bush 43's failures and 2018 midterms after Trump's failures) and so on.

Some of it was being complacent which I hope people have learned from and some of it was not realizing how far the GOP will go to destroy the country. I think a lot of people wrongly felt that the country was "moving forward" under Obama and didn't realize until Ferguson that it's the same as it ever was..

Anyway, the court packing thing is NOT something Biden should be focusing on right now. He needs to win and he ain't winning by giving the news some court headlines to run with... no...

He needs to keep the focus on how poorly Trump handled Covid and healthcare.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Every election in America is decided ONLY by the popular vote. Yet, somehow the Presidency isn't because of some archaic constitutional system :francis:

I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

Like why and how?

On the bright side it makes the election tougher to hack because it's not based on popular vote

If Joe wins and SCOTUS overturns ACA he's in a better position to mandate change.

That's another thing... The SCOTUS has some very important rulings coming up ACA is one of them... if they pull some shyt on the ACA that is a greenlight for Dems to go nuclear.

California
what does that have to do with polling in Wisconsin? if he wins Wisconsin he wins all their electoral votes automatically
My question was if does trump really need Wisconsin to win the election, last time I saw he didn’t.

I think it's largely due to the dems as a party being more diverse, being a "big tent", and by result, not really having a consistent agenda. Which leads to a lot of fickleness and inconsistency IMO.

because when the country was found the people who wrote the constitution wanted to preserve the power of states in the south that had high populations of slaves who wouldn’t be able to vote
