The issue with a majority will be fellow Democrats who will oppose common sense shyt. Happened during Obama’s early years and look at how stupid some senators like Feinstein are
Happened because of a black man being president... Biden will get zero resistance from blue dog Dems and will be able to put forth his agenda.. only dude who will cause a fuss is the WV Senator..

Polls are not to be trusted when there is so much active voter suppression going on. The Supreme Court ruling is just another example of such suppression.

Be careful with your predicted outcomes.

We can blame Democratic leadership all we want but some blame also has to go on the voters. Why did California voters re-elect an out-of-touch 85 year old woman to the Senate in 2018? Why was Democratic voter turnout so abysmal in 2014? Why do Democrats need a jolt to show up in the midterms? (2006 midterms after Bush 43's failures and 2018 midterms after Trump's failures) and so on.

My complaint is I don't think this needs to take half a year. My complaint is our elected leaders can do more than one thing at a time.
I agree it shouldn't take half a year. the dems took so long with health care reform because they had to keep going back and forth with the leiberman's of the world and shyt even susan collins was getting input for the sake of a bipartisan victory (and still she said nope) and the longer it went on the more republicans could attack it with their very powerful right wing media machine. they need to be efficient with all their priorities.

He is among the crowd on here and even in the public eye that will never ever be happy with anything the Democrats do. It will always lead to a complaint.

Schumer could start a fistfight with Mitch and if he only lands 95% accuracy this dude will complain it wasn't 97.6%
This post seems to perceive any politician as some team that I’m supposed to root for instead of a vehicle to promote my interests. If I send you to the store to get two loaves of bread and you get me 1, even though I gave you the money to get two, am I supposed to give you a Pat on the back because the other side would’ve given me none? He’s not part of any crowd - he just doesn’t view politics as this limited Republicans vs. Democrats thing that so many of you do. Too many of you view your politics in a negative perspective of “not” being conservatives of republicans and not through what should be done. You too easily accept that certain things aren’t possible and don’t even fight for them. Republicans quite literally appointed 6 of the last 9 SCOTUS judges while losing 6 of the last 7 presidential election popular votes. They quite literally stole a SCOTUS seat, and have transferred this country to the right despite popular opinion. You can’t honestly believe anyone on the left is going to see that radical shyt they’ve been doing and not grow bored with process.

Maybe it means yes but we don't want to upset the centrists before the election.

As a Party, they can't let this slide.

:francis:

You think Dems are frustrating when they don't have power, they are exponentially more so when they control all three branches. "Oh we can't upset moderates who helped us win", "We need to protect the Blue Dogs in vulnerable districts" "How will this look during midterms" "What's Fox going to say".

Schumer and his old lady's glasses wearing face ain't expanding shyt. These nikkas have no balls.

those people want progress but are only triggered into action when the other side has gone too far and we need to be reset to what we use to be. that's not a good recipe for progress.

There are a lot of reasons for this, but the main ones are -

1. Republican voters are older and more likely to be retired, and we all know old people love to vote. Dem voters are more likely to have work/school/etc. It's just easier on average for Republicans to vote.

2. The Democratic Party is a big tent party, which means it's harder to keep together than the GOP (which is mainly just white evangelicals).

3. A lof of Dem-leaning voters buy into "Both sides are the same" rhetoric. For some reason that doesn't really work on Republican voters.
