a lot of what people are protesting in not voting is the result of having a two party system. until a 3rd party humbles themselves and builds from the ground up (local/state office) over time, you're not going to have a viable 3rd party for president - certainly not if you're counting on the no corporate money piece (i'm not a fan of big money in politics either). or focus revolution on converting the US to a parliamentary system

In the next debate, bernie can ask biden how he will appeal to bernies wing of the party to support them. Biden will provide his answer and sweep the next set of primaries and bernie will drop out

If bernie dropped out now without a chance to ask joe some questions publically then his supporters may be less likely to turn out for him

There is no way bernie turns this around barring massive collapse from biden and both camps know it. If bernie still thought he had a viable path he would have spoke last night

I understand your frustrations my dude, but this is the wrong strategy. As you can tell by my posts I truly dislike Joe Biden. He has pushed racist policies like tough on drugs legislation, and the crime bill. He worked with segregation, voted for bad trade deals, voted for the War in Iraq, supported the Libya bombing, and is against almost every piece of progressive legislation. I agree that he is terrible but Trump is worse.

Don’t help to give Trump four more years of federal court appointments. As bad as Biden is, his court picks will be decent to good. If you care about progressive legislation, a lot of the bills will get challenged by conservative groups and will go to the courts. I would rather have the cases go to a Biden judge than a Trump judge.

Let’s work on getting more progressives in local and state government, so we can have a bigger bench to go to. We also need to create our on political place and group and put pressure on the establishment from the outside. This mean starting progressive Businesses and lobbying. But in the meantime let’s do as little damage as possible. Biden will do is less harm than Trump.

You can't convince these people Biden is different from Trump.

In their mind he is Trump lite. With thinking like that, it's best to let them self-immolate

Listen to the speech. He didn't attack him, he was conciliatory but he also made it clear that people need answers on some policies.

His supporters will feel better to hear Biden come down on their side on some of these policies, even if they don't agree on how or when to try to implement them.

It's up to Biden to court these supporters and keep it moving.

Compromise and humility. The same thing I have criticized Bernie for NOT doing throughout this race. If the voting block and supporters are that important to Biden, he will do what's necessary.
