but the difference is that trump isnt running on making these empty promises about healthcare :snoop::snoop::snoop:how is trump gonna be worse when he's not running on that shyt himself? :dead:

so you think it's a positive for bernie to attack joe and hold himself up as the contrast, "biden wont take care of you but i will", only to eventually lose? :laff:

or bernie drops out today and tells his supporters to support biden. which is more beneficial to beating donald trump?

edit: i'm arguing with the dude who made the actual thread? :russ:
I think he means Trump is going to attack Joe on several fronts way more than Bern.

I don't see how a 1 v 1 debate constitutes an attack. I also don't understand how Biden is suddenly a infallible candidate that can't be asked about or debated on policy by his own party in March.

The debate in AZ will have no live audience. Its just Bernie, Joe and moderators.

I don't understand why everyone is getting so angry about a debate. We know Joe has policy views on his website. Let's hear what he has to say. Let's see how he does in a 1v1 debate and fine tune for the general election.

Bernie IMO is doing Biden a favor by not suspending his campaign yet. I think that'll come in a couple weeks
Yeah I think this could be a good thing for Biden. One a lot of people don’t even really know Biden’s platform because he hasn’t done a good job explaining them. And two Biden might actually be better at one on one debates than debating with multiple people.

The moderators had trouble controlling the debates and Biden would go off and ramble most of the time.

bernie is actively hurting the democrats' efforts to win this election :yeshrug: you can sugarcoat it if you want. i think i have the right to be disgusted with it. this shyt is helping NO ONE but himself

we saw him do the same fukking thing before, 4 years ago :dead:

Bernie isn't the reason the Dems lost in 2016. And he won't be the reason in 2020.

You'll see Bernie doing Biden rallies in no time.

What's the justification for him to continue right now? Progressive wing was calling for warren to drop out after New Hampshire

Y'all don't understand that alot of these Sanders supporters/young voters that y'all are calling bitter and in their feelings actually bit the bullet in 2016 and voted for Hilary despite disliking her. But they were still blamed by the establishment for why Trump won the election because of low turnout.

This time around alot of them (myself included) won't even come out to the polls at all because they see it as a lose lose situation. Hence why the write in Bernie hashtag is trending. There's nothing left to lose. :yeshrug: I'll continue to vote locally and in the mid terms but not in this election
I understand your frustrations my dude, but this is the wrong strategy. As you can tell by my posts I truly dislike Joe Biden. He has pushed racist policies like tough on drugs legislation, and the crime bill. He worked with segregation, voted for bad trade deals, voted for the War in Iraq, supported the Libya bombing, and is against almost every piece of progressive legislation. I agree that he is terrible but Trump is worse.

Don’t help to give Trump four more years of federal court appointments. As bad as Biden is, his court picks will be decent to good. If you care about progressive legislation, a lot of the bills will get challenged by conservative groups and will go to the courts. I would rather have the cases go to a Biden judge than a Trump judge.

Let’s work on getting more progressives in local and state government, so we can have a bigger bench to go to. We also need to create our on political place and group and put pressure on the establishment from the outside. This mean starting progressive Businesses and lobbying. But in the meantime let’s do as little damage as possible. Biden will do is less harm than Trump.

He needs Joe to expand on what he'll do. How he'll govern, and defend that.

I mean, Bernie has leverage. He's gonna wield it.

Warren's top surrogates are tweeting about how the debate still needs to go on. Other members of Congress are disagreeing with Clyburn about shutting the whole primary down.

I appreciate you giving a genuine response instead of just shooting down my point. We always seem to be in a battle of choosing between the lesser evil and in the past I'd usually oblige but in this particular instance I just will not be able to support Joe Biden, he goes against literally everything I stand for.

because bernie has been selling snake oil this entire time, and setting ridiculous standards that arent relevant in the real world

biden is by no means infallible, but i'd like to see him called out on real issues instead of "he's not going to give us this shyt that bernie would have never given us either" :dead:

i mean if anyone thinks it's a positive for bernie to stay in the race at this point, we can agree to disagree

shyt has been completely eviscerated :wow: and once the jobs start going in the other direction? shyt is over for this fukking buffoon

the coronavirus is snowballing the fukkin economy. shyt is closing down left and right, travel is impoloding, stock market is crashing. it's getting worse every day  trump is finished

He plans on asking him: What are going to do for people in medical debt? For people & small businesses facing high health care costs? "Are you really going to veto a Medicare for All bill?"

we know that bernie is gonna be antagonistic about this :dead:

you want bernie to hit biden on this shyt? fine :yeshrug: should help the overall effort. bigly

who said biden was a strong candidate? i think he's an adequate candidate with several flaws

and it doesnt help anyone to have some communist selling wolf tickets, falsely propping himself up as the alternative and making bullshyt promises when he has no path to win the nomination :heh:
