Off topic, but 537 on HBO is a damn good look at the stolen 2000 election and what we may need to prepare for this year.

Shows the mistakes Dems and Gore made and how treacherous the GOP can be when it decides to take power.

It’s also a good reminder why the reputations of George Bush and his cronies should never be rehabilitated.
Ain’t that what the Lincoln project is made up of

Exactly Dems control state legislatures too...

I wanna see this success story replicated throughout the south. Might be a little harder since NoVA feeds off the more liberal DC/MD. Still, I think urbanization in the south is gonna continue the trend.

What’s weird is Maryland with a Rethug governor. shyt is beyond odd to me, we like mini Cali but this fat sack of shyt still in Annapolis....:pachaha: :ld:

VT and MA also have Republican governors. Some Dem voters like falling for "moderate" Rethugs.

I have to say, trump is working harder than biden leading up to the election

trump is conducting 3 rallies a day in swing states sometimes, while biden is taking days off
I noticed that too in 2016. Back then the writing was on the wall that Hilary was gonna lose.

1. she fainted - this hurt her more than than is acknowledged
2. She assumed she’d win all the states Obama won and didn’t campaign there.
3. The vp.debate with pence and Tim Caine was horrible. From the optics alone, Tim Caine did not look presidential. Looking all fidgety.
4. Comey made that retarded announcement about an investigation into Hilary’a email. Idiot fucck.

This time around, there’s also a writing on the wall trump is fixing to lose:

1. He railed against corona virus then he gets it and his entire White House gets it too.
2. He tried to get Netanyahu to talk bad about Biden but Netanyahu left him hanging.
3. In the vp debate with Harris and Mike Pence, a fly sits on Pence’s head for over 2 minutes.
4. In 2016, people were lackadaisical about the election. This time, as you well know, that ain’t the case.
5. The Dems have done a fairly good job informing the public that the reason they’re having to wait several hours to vote is 100% because of the republicans attempt at voter suppression.
6. Biden stutters and does not argue his case anywhere as good as he should and in spite of it, he’s widely regarded as winning all 3 debates.
7. Speaking of debates. Trump tried to prove he’s better than Biden at getting ratings. So they had two dueling townhalls on different channels. Biden smoked him by over 1 million views.
8. Biden has been polling consistently over 50% unlike Hilary in 2016.
9. 2016 happened and trump snuck into the White House. That ain’t happening again. No one is being lukewarm about this election. We all saw what could happen if we all assume our preferred candidate has it in the bag.

If that happens he'd have to sweep the Rustbelt: MI, OH, PA and WI, and hold on to AZ

In short...If he loses NC and GA both he's totally fukked.

The Electoral College is so trash :hhh: Biden is up 9 points (which means millions more support him) and there’s still a chance Trump could win :hhh:

Such an odd phenomenon. Then again, Maryland one of the richest states in the country so that might have something to do with it.

If I was governor I’d turn the whole state into a European country with the social programs, decriminalized drugs, and high speed rail. :pachaha:

Edit: And I’d appease big money by building three more major cities in the state so they can get off. :ehh:

All this talk of Georgia and North Carolina and Florida and Texas is kind of irrelevant. Biden winning any of those states would be icing on the cake, but none of them will be the difference-maker in a nail-biter.

Let's be real: there is no way Biden wins any of Georgia/North Carolina/Florida/Texas unless he wins EACH OF Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

In fact, the ONLY swing state that I can see Biden winning if he loses even one of Michigan/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania is Arizona.

So that's why it really comes down to Michigan/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania. At most, Arizona could be insurance for losing one of them.
