Wisconsin was always going to be close. It was the one state out of the big 3 swing states (PA, MI, WI) that voted the most in favor of Trump in 2016.

Also, in 2018, Wisconsin's governor's race was the only one that was close out of the 3 of them (PA, MI, WI).

Hillary was beating Trump like 6 to upwards of 15 points in WI polls in 2016. I agree different environment but in no way should Biden be underperforming Hillary. I think people are going to have to reassess the myth that Biden is a stronger candidate than Hillary so that we can be honest about his flaws. Too many assumptions have been made about his supposed strengths which could cost us.

You’re not accounting for changed methodologies in polling post-2016, changes in the underlying info, or the fact that we’re not running a head’s up race with no incumbent breh.

Let’s not go down this road or act like a 6%+ point advantage in a swing state like WI is anywhere near realistic today.
