If you work 40 hours a week for 8 dollars thats 320 before taxes. We'll be generous and call it 1280 a month. So lets say you got the rent hookup and you're paying 800 a month. That leaves you about 500 dollars to pay your light, water, phone bill, car note, and eat. Not to mention a job paying you 8 an hour likely ain't giving you healthcare.
