I'm 100% fine with this and everyone knows I'm not Bernie stan. If Biden thinks he can get into office and let republicans dictate everything, he deserves the heat. If dems win the senate the first order of business should be ending the filibuster. Because there's 0 chance republicans allow Biden to add a public option to Obamacare, increase subsidies, etc etc. Hell they won't even let him pass a decent COVID stimulus. He has to act. IF he doesn't end the filibuster, he will be a one term president and the economy will fail. Straight up.

Will Bernie be happy with a public option instead of M4A? No. But he's not gonna throw a fit over it. Hell, he'll be writing the Obamacare update bill anyway. I think his comments are moreso about if Biden gets in office and does jack shyt, or works with republicans to pass some half assed bill (in a scenario where republicans even work with him, which I doubt).
hell there might be some democrats (not 50 though) that wouldn't want a public option so the filibuster definitely has to go.

The problem is, there probably isn't 50 Dems (plus 1, even if its Kamala) even if they win 51, 52, 53, 54 seats who will abolish the filibuster

Bernie Sanders makes a play for Biden Labor secretary

This is actually a good idea. Gets him out the senate, focused on something he could be really good at. And assuming Biden pulls thru with his Buy American plans and gets an infrastructure bill passed, democrats could completely win back union voters. My only hope would be that Bernie's blind side for race doesn't result in black union members and/or black construction workers being overlooked as contracted are doled out.

Trump really thinks bringing this rando Hunter Biden business partner to the debate is going to change things. No one is going to know what he's talking about. :mjlol:

People call progressives nerds but MAGA might be the most online campaign of all time, to the point where they've disconnected from reality.

Wtf is bringing Hunter Biden's "business partner" to the debate is going to do? The debate is Trump v Biden. I said yesterday I wasn't going to watch the debate but I need to be entertained. I want to see how bad Trump shyts the bed this debate.

We'll see. The fact that establishment bipartisan dudes like Chris c00ns are openly talking about it, tells me they're ready. This is the second time democrats will take over an economy in shambles/crisis. Last time they had 59 senate votes, which became 60 a few months later. This time they'll have 51-55. Without the filibuster ending, they literally won't get anything done.
