They are susceptible to being hacked, a dude bought like 3 out of commission olver voting machine models and took them to black hat expo in Vegas (massive hacker convention) and they were able to hack the shyt out of them but that was through wifi...

I forget the name of the doc but it was excellent...

So yea it is possible, but they did confirm the machines are not supposed to have internet connections...
