Her party (NZ's Labour Party) won a majority of the seats with about 64 seats and they became the first party since 1951 to win a majority. Just like the Brexit results in 2016 slightly foreshadowed Trump's victory later in the year, Ardern's victory is sign of things to come for the GOP in less than 3 weeks
