Don't get your hopes up too much ; when Tucker Carlson and the other "populist" talking heads tell him to change his mind on the stimulus, he probably will

You wanna go into a depression?

25%

This was Bush's lowest approval rating. We used to think he was the WOAT of the modern era (and he's still down there). But shyt has gotten so sick in Amerikkka Trump can't fall below 15 points above that.

:wtb:
So modern GOP is 25% Warhawk, 12% White Supremacist/ illegal immigrant

Trump listens to guys like this, don't be surprised if he ends up pushing through a new stimulus. Unless he's actually trying to lose at this point and doesn't give a shyt

The closer it looks like Trump will lose the less the GOP will care about him and what he wants. It was always going to be a majority Dem vote. We’re talking about what 14 Republicans?

He already gave them ACB, he has little use to them. They sure ain’t passing it in the lame duck session.

He is going to reverse course, but the damage is done. All the chaos in his decision making just adds to Trump fatigue.

Most reasonable people are tired of his bullshyt. When a country’s fed up.

And this is why I'm telling people to ease up on Puerto Rican statehood...PR is very right wing outside of the statehood movement which itsen't doesn't map onto our concept of "left vs right" politically.

And Puerto Rico IMO has more of a reason to have statehood compared to DC in my opinion.

If we truly want something, lets make sure it BENEFITS US.

In the last 2 hours, Trump has

  • Held the stimulus hostage
  • Tanked the stock market because he held the stimulus hostage
  • Refused to let the CDC help with contact tracing as coronavirus runs rampant in the White House
  • Told the Senate to prioritize confirming ACB over the stimulus even though two GOP senators are sick

Can we call it now? I already thought he had no chance of winning in a free and fair election, but I don't even think Republicans are going to help him cheat anymore now that his stupidity is gonna tank their careers too.
I ask you, we know this because we follow the news.

Does it matter enough to win votes?

Because she was negotiating?

She didnt unilaterally pull out and decide she wasn't negotiating, your president did that. He decided to make it an election issue instead of a 'what's best for the country issue'. No other way to see it.

And he has a record of politicizing this shyt.

Pushing for the covid vaccine before it was ready.

Putting notes in care packages to let people feel like they came directly from him.

Risking people around him to make it look like he recovered from covid.

He made the unilateral decision to withdraw. He specifically said, wait until after the election. Pelosi could still theoretically decide not to budge after the election, so this is all for the show.

This is on him.
Dude is treating government like he's negotiating air conditioning units for his shytty mob money laundering concrete towers :scust:

When are we going to acknowledge the master class Biden is running?

He's been in OH/PA for a couple of weeks now and nearly every speech/tweet has struck the right tone. Also as Wasserman points out, he's done a good job laying low (but not too low), minimizing the gaffes, and letting Trump hang himself. People are underestimating Joe Biden because he's rough around the edges, but he's run the right campaign for the moment.
