It won't be as difficult a midterm at least in the Senate, but you can't predict 2 years out what it's gonna be like either. If Dems aren't smart or are unlucky or can't keep electorate motivated we could have a very shaky situation again.

You can. Look at who the Republican party is putting out. They have moved so far to the right, that the entire party is theirs because they have pushed the Moderates out. You have Moderates trying to appeal, but with Biden as president, they will see them as part of the Swamp and go with a far-right candidate.

Old People have died, and 8 year olds back then can now vote. The younger generation with each increasing cycle don't just view elections for the middle-age people, they see consequences from student loans to climate change because the older generation has fukked it up.

Time will tell but never underestimate the Dem coalition 1) getting butthurt if they don't get EVERYTHING they want fast and/or if their personal issues don't get addressed (we're diverse, cacs who love the Trump Party aint) and 2) fired up cacs showing up to take care of the "evil" (against all evidence) presence in DC which is gonna do ridiculous shyt to them like give them more and better healthcare and higher wages and cleaner water and air
