I fukk with Bernie to an extent, I voted for him in two primaries, but at this point he needs to just focus on making sure his people turn out for Biden instead of staying home or writing him in. :yeshrug:

He has a point about Latino support though. I'm not sure why Biden is struggling with that demographic but he needs to do something.
So Bernie wants Biden to campaign with AOC. :mjlol:

The only thing I agree with in that article is the economic populist messaging.

The Latino community in states like TX, NV, AZ are a young voter bloc. Biden campaign should have leaned into that strength of the Sanders campaign out in those states.

Biden polling better with white people has changed the calculus I'm sure. But it is a big concern that Dems now are just starting to freak out about. Trump's cutting into the margins is real and unfortunate.

Roger Stone calls for Trump to seize total power if he loses the election

Stone also said federal authorities should seize all Nevada ballots, federal agents and GOP state officials should “physically” block voting, that Trump should nationalize police forces, and that Trump should order widespread arrests

He only says what many of the fukkers are thinking :childplease:

Sounds like a man who has potential legal trouble if Trump loses.

Biden even being in the same room as AOC would give Trump enough ammo for another 4 years right now. :russ:

I understand the concern about the Latino vote but let's not get desperate.

trump would have crushed bernie, for the same exact reason that biden beat bernie the the primary

i cant imagine how intellectually bankrupt someone would have to be, to not understand that :dead:
They don't get it. Bernie is damn near radioactive to many people in a way Joe just isn't. Trump had his whole re-election campaign specifically targeted for Bernie. With all of these events he'd be down 6-8 right now vs Trump.

I knew Bernie Sanders and his cult wasn’t done tryna help Trump get 4 more years.

:dead:

Yup. I'm getting kinda tired of Bernie I don't understand how he runs on the Democratic ticket then after he loses in the primary, he says he supports Biden but he's pointing out things but he's speaking out against the Democratic Party. I don't get it. Why not just run as an Independent candidate? Bernie is really an independent.

Bernie supporters want to get mad but where were they when it was time to show up at the polls? This is why I don't trust the 18-29 crowd to actually vote. If Bernie was running the race right now might be tighter than what it is now.

Nah, Bernie was leading Trump in head to heads by 4-5 points nationally on average before COVID-19 and losing to Biden.

You really think there'd be a 10 point swing to Trump in the face of a national disaster? Bernie isn't a hated politician by the way, his favorable numbers were the same as Biden's.

I know you dislike Sanders but let's be reality, he'd be beating Trump but not in the way Biden is.

The younger crowd is stupid, for sure. On Twitter, etc.

But Sanders isn't even speaking out against Biden!!! He's suggesting some tactics to make sure Biden has this in the bag. The guy is being a team player.

I don't understand why you all are getting so fukking freaked out by this.

Exaggeration, but I think Trump's brand of messaging is much more effective against Bernie than Biden. White people would've much more readily believed Sanders to be part of the social unrest and "rise of socialism" than Biden making this race much closer to even or slightly down vs the current race.

This is just my opinion though. I value Bernie's message but I don't think he's a particularly skilled politician. To get the majority of the tent behind him would've been much more difficult.

Don't "speak out" at all. No one wants the boat rocked internally right now. This race is as stable as it gets right now.

You have Joe's number. Unless this report was leaked by Joe's team I don't see why it was necessary.

This...

...is flawed. You could easily argue his centrist approach is why he's winning.

Trump would be up 7 points if Bernie ran against him. He would trout out AOC, Nina Turner and fat Michael Moore spitting out wacky far left policies that would ENSURE another 4 years of Trump.

Bernie is deserving only to STFU not only because of his evident loserdom in the primaries x2 but because so much of his trouble aside from his own flaws is his dumbfukk staffing of clowns like this Faiz Shakir who's showing his ass, BrieBrie and many other pro Bougie leftists who are fukking Green Party Stein sockpuppets in all but name still.

Every fukking time I see these cac a$$holes and cac Park Slope fellating types telling Biden what he "ought" to do I say a silent prayer they ain't in any charge or position of power. I ain't saying the Biden/Harris campaign don't have blind spots and weaknesses, or that they're guaranteed to do anything, but the profile they got now would cotdaymn SEEM to indicate they know a LITTLE bit about how to fukking position they ticket for a win

:stopitslime:

P.S/edit: and before anyone thinks I'm a straight hater of St. Bernard, I **AM** grateful he pushed the party left and made income inequality much more of a legit topic in the discourse - but that doesn't mean I don't also think he's got nowhere near the political talent deserving of his own obnoxious cult

I subscribe to Bitecofer’s negative partisanship argument for why any D candidate would have been able to consolidate the tent but there would be unique challenges to each. Like with Sanders and suburbanites. But ultimately it’s a referendum on Trump.

I think it’s more about engaging the voters who haven’t been catered to. Everyone knows Latino voters require attention and an economic agenda especially right now is what’s needed. That’s the hat tip Sanders has been trying to give.

I think this is being blown way up over nothing though. Everyone wants to win and Sanders wants Biden foot on neck it’s obvious. Cause he’s terrified of the aftermath if it’s narrow.

Faiz has worked for Pelosi and Reid. The guy was with Neera Tanden at CAP. He’s been around Dem Party politics for awhile. He was an inexperienced campaign manager.

He’s not doing what Brie is doing which is constantly tweeting how Biden is gonna lose. Faiz was working with the Biden campaign all Spring on the policy platforms.
