I think "Saul" would have convinced him to take the deal...if he was his actual client.

He would go into one his diatribes:

"Ok, here's the layout, kid. You have a chance of going free like I have a chance of getting blown by Jessica Simpson."

This is exactly why the writing is so brilliant on this show.

The end result (getting the guy to take the deal) would've been the same....but the motivation would be different. The sole reason "Saul" gave a fukk about Bobby is he seen how upset Kim was....Saul as we know him from "BB" wouldn't care about someone that wasn't his client.

And hell....realistically someone like Bobby and Saul would never cross paths. Keep in mind Kim has been doing pro bono work....Saul would never do some shyt like that. You don't got the money, he ain't fukking with you.

But even Saul on "BB" ain't completely rid of Jimmy. Him telling Walt to go take care of his family instead of trying to get revenge was probably the most Jimmy thing he did on that show.

He only said that because he also hit rock bottom and it was truly over

Yeah but it was a legit....good (for lack of a better word) thing. He had nothing to gain by giving Walt that advice. He could've just been like "ok cool, go kill them all" and bounced. At that point he had no reason to care what happened to Walt.

He did something similar in season 4 with Jesse. Told him to patch things up with Andrea.

I love how they took 2 random names from one minor scene in Breaking Bad(Lalo & Ignacio) and made em into two of my favorite characters.

Lalo wasnt buyin Gus’s bullshyt but he playin along. :wow:

We dont see him in BB so we know Fring wins the cold war against him. Wonder if Gus has him killed or deported? They mentioned he’s a liability on the U.S. side of the border so. Lalo dont got papers?:lupe:

hows Nacho gonna get outta all this?:lupe:

Lalo is gonna wind up in the foundation of that half built meth lab surrounded by freshly poured concrete. We all know that you don’t fukk with Gus but he will take a perceived L early in the game if it means total dominance in the end. Look at how much strategy it took Walt to take him out for good.

Even that took some luck. If Jesse never went to that nursing home and spotted Gus gloating towards Hector, Walt would still have been scrambling around.

No Whammies!!
Color palette season has returned:blessed: Yellow everywhere :shaq::mjlit::demonic::steviej: Jimmy's about to get into some shyt. He's got the Saul suits popping already too.

I don't know if it means anything, but I noticed that the "black&white" opening scenes seemed to have a slight green tint yesterday. Wonder if that was intentional, my imagination, or an issue with the setting on my TV?
