it probably wasn't smart for sirota to tweet about other candidates when he was on a trial period with Bernie. Brianha is solid but I was surprised by the Sirota hire since he was always on Twitter arguing that the rest of the field stinks. Sirota has good takes and there's nothing wrong with pointing out Beto's records but he's way too online.

I could tell that the heat he caught on Twitter from the beto article had him kinda shook and all the article was simply going over beto's record without much opinion. People gotta log off Twitter, man lol.

So the sarcasm in Joy's tweet was warranted? Bernie Bros :heh:

Who or what is "donut twitter"?
centrist dems and their supporters on twitter. basically people like Nap and people who say "he's not even a Democrat."

last summer, Nina Turner and a bunch of Bernie supporters went to the DNC headquarters to give them a copy of the People’s Platform (basically what their platform should be for the 2018 election). They weren't allowed in the building / were barricaded off by security guards then staffers came outside and gave them donuts and water. centrists were clowning Nina when the story dropped and put donut emojis in their twitter profile to mock progressives - hence donut twitter

just dumb twitter stuff that I unfortunately am aware of

This thread is literally a microcosm of why the Dems are going to lose in 2020 :scust:

I only wish Dems would go at Trump or the GOP half as hard as they do each other.

Then the Democrats need to let the people choose who we want to vote for and not manufactured candidates with rigging.

It's not that difficult.:yeshrug:

It’s primary season. We have a long way to go.

And you’re underestimating how bad Trump is. Most unpopular incumbent since Carter!!!

Please cite evidence of something being rigged. :beli:

For reasons I don't really understand (maybe it's Trump fatigue or something) Dems seem FAR more interested in bashing each other over petty shyt than saying anything about the GOP/Trump.

I really wish they would save that shyt for the debates and focus on the bigger problem, but all signs point to another 2016.

Trump has been unpopular since before the election, but his approval hasn't really changed that much since then.

It really should be an easy win for the Democrats, but at the rate we're going whoever wins is going to be demonized into being another Hillary.

I doubt it. We’ll have a nominee who’s strong in the Midwest. And Dems will turnout in 2020 as they did in 2018.
