I don't think Biden is any more Electable than Trump or Bernie. Any of them can win.

I'm glad someone said this because I've been thinking the same thing.

I don't agree at all with people so convinced that Trump is gonna mop the floor with Biden, and it wouldn't surprise me if Bernie got the nomination and lost in November.

I think Biden is a terrible candidate and I'm not voting for him in the primary or the general if he gets the nomination, but I never once played into the "electability" argument because it's based off of bullshyt perceptions and speculation.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
why does canada have to hammer the middle class with taxes to pay for its healthcare?

An Overview of Canada's Tax Brackets
  • 15% on the first $48,535 of taxable income, plus
  • 20.5% on the next $48,534 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $48,535 up to $97,069), plus
  • 26% on the next $53,404 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $97,069 up to $150,473), plus
  • 29% on the next $63,895 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $150,473 up to $214,368), plus
  • 33% of taxable income over $214,368

I just did the math. In Canada we'd be paying $13,730 in National taxes (which includes healthcare).

Here we're paying between $11,000+ on healthcare alone.

Plus in taxes we're paying $9,705.

and trump can't hammer biden on that with the economy collapsing like it is right now. it's already beginning and the election is like 8 months away
:russell:

that's a shrugoff. The economy is going to go down, but the Fed keeps propping it up and Trump will blame the Coronavirus. It's not gonna hit.

I live in KY. Not voting for Biden if it comes to that. I’ll vote local and I have automatic donations for the progressive dem candidate over Amy McGrath who is literally running ads on “not being for Medicare 4 All or any of that stuff.”

If anybody gives a shyt about that, throw a few bucks.

We're building a movement.

my situation is probably much more typical than yours.

Even if we never go to the doctor we still pay $4000 in premiums.

5% of our income. That's still more than the 4% (after 30K) Sanders is proposing in his plan.

Even if he didn't exempt the first 30K we'd still be saving money and it'd raise more income for the plan.

So...after 19 states and 12.5 Million votes they're separated by less than 1 million votes despite Biden having the backing of the entire Party, corporate Media and Big money donors.

That's not a very good case. I wonder how much Bernie would be up by with that support. I wonder where Biden would be without it.
Bernie would never have it because he rages against it. Wonder where he’d be if he were a better politician vs ideologue

For a supposed ideologue he's gotten much further in politics than great politicians like...Joe Biden...Elizabeth Warren...

Biden is where he is because Obama needed a bland white guy with no black support as VP to ensure white racists that nothing would really change that much. The fact that hes coasting on that with zero tangibles for black people is disgusting.
